Endya Eames Delpit, General Counsel

Endya E. Delpit is a New Orleans native, and for nearly 30 years, she has practiced law and developed expertise in the energy and utility industries. She has both law firm and in-house counsel experience.  She currently serves as Assistant General Counsel (Commercial Transactions) at Entergy Services, Inc. (an affiliate of Entergy Corporation) in New Orleans.  Previously, she worked in the legal department at Exxon Mobil Corporation in Houston where she supported both downstream and upstream business units in a broad range of multi-million dollar domestic and international commercial transactions. 

Endya graduated from Howard University in 1992, with honors, and she is 1995 Southern University Law Center magna cum laude graduate.  She was Editor-in-Chief of the Southern University Law Review and graduated 2nd in her class.  She was recognized at the SULC 2010 Alumni Round-Up for her distinguished career and Lawyers of Color included Endya on its inaugural Nation’s Best list for 2019 in the Southwest Region.  Her daughter, Grace, is a Howard University biology major.
