The Professional Football Players Mothers Association, Inc. also known as 'PFPMA', is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of mothers and those who serve in that role, of current and former professional football players. It is a membership association, support system and network for mothers of professional football players. Our broad goal is to help support mothers and their sons understand and navigate the business of football and build a strong foundation of support for success. WHAT IS PFPMA'S MISSION? Our mission is to be a support system for the mothers of professional football players and to serve, support educate, and strengthen our communities through charitable giving. WHAT IS PFPMA'S PURPOSE and OBJECTIVES?
PFPMA's membership application is open to any mother, or person who serves that role in the life of a current or former NFL football player. WHAT IS THE COST OF MEMBERSHIP? HOW OFTEN DOES THE ASSOCIATION MEET? PFPMA's general assembly of members meet twice a year; during the early spring (March/April) for the general annual business meeting, and mid-summer (June/July) for the pre-season conference or retreat. The preseason conference and retreat events are hosted on a bi-annual schedule as a fundraiser event designed to raise awareness and support for the organization's mission; or as a retreat designed for members take time to form bonds with one another, focus on their purpose, personal development and self care. Other opportunities to meet occur during activations at the NFL sanctioned events such as the Pro Bowl, Super Bowl, NFL Draft, as well as, community impact events hosted locally throughout the regions. Regional, committee and special meetings are held as needed. |
